Boracay is four kilometres of powder-white sand and turquoise water that regularly tops best-beach lists, small enough to walk end to end. Since its 2018 clean-up it’s calmer and better managed than ever. A few smart choices set the whole trip up. Getting there
Fly into Caticlan (MPH) for the shortest hop and a quick boat transfer to the island; Kalibo (KLO) is cheaper but adds a 1.5–2 hour land transfer. Both connect via Manila or Cebu. Where to stay

Make time for sunset on White Beach, an island-hopping boat tour, kitesurfing at Bulabog, parasailing over the bay, and a cliff-jump day at Ariel’s Point. Do most of it, skip something, and leave an afternoon to just drift.
Getting around
The island is tiny; walk the beach path or hop the cheap e-trikes along the main road. No private cars clog the shoreline, which is part of the charm. Sort out getting around on day one and the rest is straightforward.
When to go
November to May is the dry, calm season; the June–October habagat brings wind and rain that the kitesurfers love. Flexible dates are worth real money here, especially around the holiday peaks.
Leave room to wander
Resist the urge to over-schedule. The best memories of Boracay are usually the unplanned ones, so leave gaps for a long lunch, a wrong turn, or an afternoon that happily runs late.
